Inside the Blood Vessel - An immersive VR experience
Inside the Blood Vessel is a real-time, interactive Virtual reality experience that immerses the viewer inside a blood vessel to witness cellular transport inside the vessel under normal and abnormal conditions. Interactively experience the inside of a healthy blood vessel, plaque buildup, and how a stent can be deployed with balloon angioplasty to restore the blood flow.
Inside the Blood Vessel is just a small illustration of the breakthrough possibilities of Virtual reality in medical, scientific and engineering visualizations. I created this interactive VR experience for the HTC Vive headset using Cinema 4D and Unity 5. User interactions were created using VRTK Unity Toolkit.
